Today's Craft

Stickers & Watercolors. I'm finishing up Lorelai's 1st year scrapbook (after she goes to bed) and I have a TON of leftover stickers. I never really used these start stickers so I thought it would be a fun thing for her. She did okay, but got frustrated when the stickers would stick to her fingers instead of the paper. The watercolor part was easier but I think she likes tempera better because it's instant gratification - dip the brush into the pain, put to the paper, unlike watercolor where you have to get the brush wet, smush it around for a few minutes in the color, and then paint.

Crayons - Success

Playdoh - Fail

We bought like 5 tubs of playdoh a few months back, thinking she'd do okay with it and the only thing she wanted to do was eat it. I put it up and brought it back today in hopes that she would do better. Nope. She really had no interest in it other than random taste tests. Oh well... I guess I'll give it another couple of months.
