Texas Weeds

I have a photo shoot later this week at this park/trail and wanted to scout it out beforehand. We found this cute little area with "Texas Flowers" (not sure what they are, but they are EVERYWHERE -- probably weeds, haha). I stuck Lou in them for 5 minutes and snapped a few pics...

Miscellaneous Pictures

^ She is successfully climbing on TOP of the kitchen table. I couldn't get a pic of her on it, but I got one of her coming down (and of the guilty face!).


Mayo & I were walking through Target the other day and we saw this adorable dress. Well, it was adorable on the rack. Once we got it on Lorelai, it was too long and pretty much turned into a night gown. I could hem it, but I think it will still look like a nightgown, haha. Here she is eating eggs off of a fork. She was protesting food for a day or two (thanks, teething), but I can get her to eat with a fork!

The Dress

Gammie bought Lorelai this dress for Easter. We got it in the mail today and I decided to snap some pics at the park. She wasn't being cooperative AT ALL, but I managed to get a couple decent shots.

Damn, my kid is adorable. =P

Lorelai's in a rare mood today - happy and cheerful. That sounds bad, but she's been teething horribly with these 2 eye teeth coming in. I snapped some pictures. :) Nothing artistic, but cute nonetheless...

Lou's New Pets...

Lorelai got two hamsters today! We named them Cosmica (Meeka) and Lyra (pronounced Lee-Ruh).. She's SO excited about them... giggling and laughing at every move they make. :)

Sleepyhead

I tried and tried to get Lorelai to sleep today, to no avail. She fought it and I gave up. She was playing with her horsie on the floor about 20 minutes ago. I looked down, and she was passed out, haha.

In case you're wondering why I'm updating so often - my mom is having withdraws. :P

baby legs

We found Lorelai's baby legs (leg warmers) and she insisted on them being put on...




Those shorts are from last summer! They still fit! Then again, we bought big. :)

Cutie Patootie

She loves to play out on the patio. It's empty at the moment, but she still has fun. There's a dog directly next to us that plays out on the patio. He doesn't look friendly but Lorelai loves to look at him, haha.

My Climber

I was doing dinner dishes tonight while Mayo was giving Lorelai a bath. He was getting her undressed when I heard a, "What the hell?!" from the bathroom. I went to investigate to find this:

A square of grilled cheese from lunch. I have NO idea how it got to be in her diaper. She had a onesie and sweatpants on ALL DAY. I guess she figured out a way to get it up in there for later. :P






Yep, she climbs. This is one of her favorite spots, and guess what? She fell right after this picture, almost knocking her head on the bookcase. No worries, she's fine. She's so clumsy that she's an expert at falling, haha!

I really need to do something about those computer cords. Eugh.
