A Girl with Attitude
Don't mind the food around her mouth. :)
Talk of the Town - Tutu Style

The little choo-choo train that travels around the park (this area is HUGE) went by and Lorelai was out in the grass playing. EVERYONE on the train was yelling and waiving at her in her tutu. It was hilarious, and she was thrilled. :)

Duuuuuuude
"Dude"
She ran around today saying "duuuuuuude" - it was her favorite word of the day. =D
Good news - she's back to her normal self. Though she is still teething her eye teeth, her two molars on the top are through and the other one on the bottom is through, finally. She's back to going to sleep without me rocking her. In fact, I told her to give kisses 'night night' and she blew her kisses and marched into her room.
Mayo made a HUGE breakfast this morning - eggs, bacon, waffles, bagels, etc. We didn't eat half of it, haha. It was yummy, though.

Park Time!
This slide was HUGE. She saw a bunch of little girls go up the steps so she was determined to try, too. She chickened out, though.

On the slide - she didn't care for it too much. She kept using her shoes as brakes. :)

Loving the swings again!
Chasing Mommy & Daddy:
Bath
Look how long her hair has gotten!

Staring out the window in her room with her blankie:
This was one was taken last Friday, our first official day there. The bathroom was a wreck. :)
Welcome to Texas
From February 13th:
We got to Houston last night at 9:30 – our plane arrived a half hour early, which meant Lorelai and I were standing at the airport waiting for Mayo to show up. No biggie, but Lore was beyond tired and was acting like a little monster. She cried when Mayo picked her up and kissed her, which was pretty funny.
The plane ride… I really don’t even want to talk about that, except to say that I’ll never, for as long as I live, travel alone awith a toddler again. Those poor people seated around us. *shakes head*
Lorelai didn’t end up falling asleep until 2:30 this morning – she was overtired and inconsolable. She slept a whole four hours, her shortest time slept since she was like 6 months old.
It’s 1:30 over here now and I’ve barely gotten anything done, on account that I’m dead tired from the stressful plane ride, the late night and early morning. Lou’s had two doses of Tylenol today (the mini bottle that I paid nearly 10 bucks for at the airport; crazy.) but it’s not helping the teething. WHY must my child get all over her teeth in at once? She’s got 3 molars coming through and 2 bottom eye teeth. Fun, fun.
Anyway, I was supposed to be picking up the apartment today by unpacking all of the bags and boxes. I’ve gotten the big suitcase done and I unpacked all of the book boxes. There’s crumpled Goldfish (blackmail for silence) in nearly every room and the bathroom floor is soaked from Lorelai’s hour-long bath – another blackmail for silence. She loves the bath, and it helps take away the pain of teething. It worked… she’s been happy since.
She’s in her room screaming “De” now. =(

From Today
She's doing good now, though she slept like crap last night. We were up at 1:30 watching Aladdin and she didn't end up falling back asleep until 3:45 am, and that was only because she was in bed with us. She's teething horrible, poor thing. We have everything unpacked and the apartment looks fine, now. Lorelai snuck into the bathroom today and got her open tylenol bottle off of the counter. (I was half-asleep last night when I gave it to her, hence not closing it and leaving it within her reach.) Anyway, I was scrubbing red baby tylenol off of the carpet today.. she had a nice little trail going. :)
